Artist's Comments I am so sorry, Junpei. Takuya has won over my heart for who is best paired up with Izumi. I apologize. But you can basically pair Izumi up with anyone. [Kou] Ichi x Izumi has a slightly large Japanese following. [Kou] Ji x Izumi is still popular (I prefer them as friends though). Izumi x Tomoki... uh, Tomoki's too young. Leave him out of this until he's 10 years older. Um, so, Izumi and Takuya have leadership conflicts. She has her way, he has his. At least in the beginning. Takuya should've let Izumi become the leader though. And Izumi should've been the one with the goggles. We need a goggle girl. My thought when drawing this image wasn't that though. I just felt like switching hats. Takuya acting particularly embarrassed when he let out the Freudian slip in the library was cute. I wanted to capture that sort of expression. I already inked this. I should color it so my pens don't go to waste. Though, I'm not sure if I feel like it. XD All characters are (c) to Toei Animation. |

Looks quite good~! Takuya in the snow cap almost fits (perhaps because color has been omitted...)
As much as I mark out for all things Junzumi, the vast (VAST) majority of the fans seem to really be against me on it. People go gaga over Kouji×Izumi and all I can do is look over the same episodes and go "...wait, what??" ._.
Of course there's always the option of taking the higher ground: Izumi is a STRONG, INDEPENDENT woman and like -hell- she needs a guy in her ambitious life.
(sadly I can see fanfic writers only invoking this right if it means using it against Junpei; dear sweet harmless Junpei...)
